Each day I wake up as an artist, I look to grow from the artist that I was yesterday. I constantly challenge yesterday's capabilities by always striving to create the highest art form possible within myself, today. Some of my works feature celebrities and other iconic figures. This acts as a middle ground for the captured emotion in real life photographs and my acrylic paintings which depict an illusion of reality. An opportunity for myself and the audience to also relate emotions being depicted by the celebrity. The conclusive goal of these paintings are to intrigue the viewer and to stimulate thought about themselves and the world of emotion around them.
In most of my work, I exhibit my roman numeral encrypted language which allows me to practice uniformity and flow, while communicating important messages about my life.
I create with motivation of promoting positivity, freeing others from concern, invoking curiosity and toppling dominos of questions and answers. This is my medium for opening the viewer’s mind to see mine clearly; an attempt to introduce what art does for my life. To see art is to observe the snapshot of a psychology – the emotion, the mindset, the energy, the atmosphere. It’s all there as a story to be told. Thank you for your interest, the story continues with you.
