My works on paper allow me to study flow and uniformity within my style acting as a stepping stone to my works on canvas. I would consider this a secondary form of meditation for me. Completing these paintings on paper allow me to find an equilibrium for when I begin working on the larger works. These works include messages just like all of my work, where each roman numeral represents a letter, all of which compile words and sentences, in relation to my life and journal entries I write. When i title works on paper “Love Language Scripture” it is because “love” is written on the front of each one in my Roman Numeral Encrypted Language.
